The Review:

Jenny Jackson’s first novel was simply delightful! The differences in class that played a big part in the storyline was probably my favorite part, especially the comments of Sasha’s MIL. (Kind of reminds me of Charlotte’s MIL Bunny 🐰 on SATC!) The part in the beginning when Sasha confesses the guests kept handing her their dirty dishes at a dinner party and asks her SIL if they were also doing the same to her still makes me laugh!!

“Darley laughed. ‘That’s so ridiculous! I hadn’t noticed but you’re wearing the same thing as Berta! They must have thought you were a caterer – shit! Malcolm!’ She called her husband over to tell him. Everyone laughed, Cord walking up to rub her shoulders to make sure she thought it was funny too, and Sasha played along, knowing deep in her heart that she would never wear a white blouse to a Stockton family party again as long as she lived.” 🤣 ~Chapter One, Pineapple Street by Jenny Jackson 🍍

I can’t wait for Jenny to put more of her fabulous writing out into the world!

Thank you Tim Talks Books for always nailing it on the book recommendations! 🍍
