Someone Else’s Shoes – Jojo Moyes

Read if you love:

  • New York City
  • Women Empowering Women
  • Female Camaraderie

The Review:

I was so excited to see Jojo Moyes had Someone Else’s Shoes coming out this year after LOVING The Giver of Stars (please stop what you’re doing and read The Giver of Stars if you haven’t already!) The same strength in women camaraderie is woven throughout both novels. The outlook that women empowering and helping other women builds up everyone is the cornerstone of both books, and I can’t tell you how much I whole-heartedly agree with this! I enjoyed seeing the growth in Nisha’s character as the story unfolded, and I loved the character of Jasmine who was able to see past the facade to see the good in Nisha.

“People decide what they think you’re capable of based on how you look, doubly so if you’re a woman.”
