The Review:

How can a novel be both equally hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time?! After one of the six college friends dies suddenly 2 weeks before graduation, the five remaining friends are left to wonder whether it was a suicide or an accident. After his funeral, they decide to make a pact to come together for a “living funeral” during anyone’s low point in their life. Their reasoning: If Alec had witnessed his own funeral, he would have known how much he was loved. They figure out the rules as they go, but simply put – anyone can invoke the pact at any time and the others must drop what they’re doing and come together to build up their friend in need. The motto of the pact is Leave Nothing Left Unsaid.

This book reminded me of friends who come together after years of being apart and fall right in step with one another like no time has passed. Aren’t those the best friendships?!
